Gulé Jaan is dipped in the pale luminescence of icy blue Indian silk. The choli, long-sleeved with a graceful boat neckline, features a double-sleeve illusion and subtle structure, embroidered in golden thread with twinkling pearls that dangle at the cuffs like icicles on a window ledge. The lehenga is composed of angular silk appliqué panels stitched together like stained glass, each one enclosing a peacock motif picked out in sequins and zari. Across the expanse, palmette-shaped borders stretch in angular symmetry, embroidered in fine gold thread, leading to a finely decorated hemline that sparkles like snow caught in twilight. The organza dupatta, light as a frost-kissed breeze, is embroidered with soft flowers in silken and metallic threads, framed with a scalloped internal border and edged in traditional golden kiran.
